I had cataract surgery a month ago, but am still having some filmy vision at times. Has anyone else had this surgery and when will it get better

I have had both eyes done. One became a little blurry so my doctor did an ""in office"" Laser Procedure and that cleared it up. I don't recall the name of this procedure and it did fix my blurry vision.

Same here...I think the doctor called mine a secondary cataract and used laser and it went away but mine was well after the initial surgery...I would see your ophthalmologist

I also had this problem. Doctor just zapped it away and every thing has been fine since.

I had same problem with one eye soon after surgery, it was laser too remove. Than had my second eye done last year, 5 years later.

I'm not sure about your situation, but it is very common after cataract surgery to get a secondary cataract or what some doctors call an after cataract. It is a film that grows over and they laser it. The procedure is called a yag cap.
