I have a glider very similar to the Gazelle that I purchased from QVC years ago, mine is still going strong and I love it!!!!!!If done faithfully, I have noticed a difference and my husband also uses it and has noticed a difference.....I really like it and it folds up and will fit under the bed if you don't want to leave it out....

Does anyone here own the old Tony Little gazelle? Do you still use it? I've had mine for years and really haven't used it faithfully. I mostly walk for exercise and do On Demand workouts. Just wondering if the Gazelle actually helped trying to stay in shape or get in shape.

I still have an old Glider I purchased from QVC about 20 years ago. They replaced it twice when a pedal and a cable broke.

I used to enjoy it even though I was told by a trainer it really offered few benefits.

I have had a glider for many years and still enjoy using it as it is much less impact compared to a treadmill.

http://www.livestrong.com/article/294594-are-gliders-good-exercise/

I used to have one and loved it. Until I accidentally whacked my furbaby who stupidly decided to stroll past me while I was using it. It was awkward to get on and off it also. I was always afraid to use it when I was alone in the house in case I had an accident on the mount/dismount.

On 3/23/2015 vaccinia said:
I had one about 15 years ago and never felt like I was really getting a good workout.

That's the same experience that I had. When I purchased mine, I hadn't exercised in years so it was a good way to build up my strength & endurance. As I did, it became too easy for me. I started walking outdoors once the weather got nice & I felt that I got a better workout doing that. My son tried using it but he's very tall (6'4") so it was uncomfortable for him to use so he didn't use it very often. I paid nearly $300 at HSN about 2 1/2 years ago, sold it to Play It Again Sports recently for $18, which shows you what a rip-off indoor exercise equipment is.

I have the original Tony Little glider and it still works just fine and I still use it on occasion to warm up for other exercises that I continue to do. I purchased mine solely so I would have a simple machine to use for my warm ups.
