The doctor has given me prep instructions as follows: <STRONG>Day before:</STRONG></P> <P>1. Drink only clear liquids all day.</P> <P>2. At 3:00 pm, take 2 dulcolax tablets</P> <P>3. At 6 pm, Mix (238-355 gram) bottle of Miralax into 64 oz. of Gatorade. Drink 8 oz glass every 15-20 minutes until I/2 is gone (32 oz). Put the other 32 oz. in the fridge.</P> <P>4. 8 pm, take another 2 Dulcolax tablets with a glass of water.</P> <P>5. Clear liquids til midnight.</P> <P><STRONG>Day of colonoscopy:</STRONG></P> <P>1. 4 hours before scipe, drink the last 32 oz of Gatorade and 2 add'l Dulcolax.</P> <P>2. Drink more liquids til 2 hours before the scope.</P> <P>What the heck??? I think this will make me sick, although, the doctor says it won't. Don't know how I'm gonna get to the hospital without urinat*ing or you know what in the car, lol. I had a colonoscopy 5 years ago and it was similar but not quite so ridgit. I had to cut off eating the evening before, not a whole day before. And I took something already prepared and it wasn't Gatorade.
