Andrew Lessman Vitamins Payment

I caved and bought the TSV on Sunday for Andrew Lessman's Cholesterol supplement. It is extended delivery for December 11. I just checked and I have already been charged on my credit card for the purchase. I thought you wouldn't be charged until the item shipped.

The flex pay symbol on the order summary has the first month marked as paid.

Are you sure it's been charged and not just authorized? Mine all have the check mark as paid, too but when I look at my credit card account on line, it is not showing up as a charge yet.

It was deducted from my account. That is why I looked up my order status.

Call cs and ask...maybe they had some cancelations and moved your order up to ship now

That happens to me all the time. The payment is actually deducted, not just authorized. This happens with a lot of sites, not just HSN. Unless the site specifically states payment will not be deducted until the item ships, I assume it will be deducted ASAP.

Well, I just figured out - I will have paid for the item before it is shipped. I chose to pay by 2 easy payments. And one payment was processed and the next payment will be processed before the item is expected to ship on December 11.

Not what I expected.

I have only bought 1 item that was on extended delivery and HSN debited me the day I placed my order. If I order an advanced order item from QVC, they do not do that. I am not debited until the item ships.

I think we get spoiled with QVC and assume all retailers have the same policies and practices. They do not.

How many posts have we seen on here about ShopHQ not refunding original shipping on returns?

Not all shopping channels are created equal ;o)

Speaking of which, can we talk about the lighting on JTV? They look like zombies.

can you log into your account and you do the chat function? i find the online reps are good about correcting payment discrepencies and any other issues - among other issues i had a dry mascara in a kit they credited money back on my card

Not what I expected.

If you have been charged (not a hold) on your credit card for the item, then the item is getting ready to ship. I have received items earlier from HSN than my advanced order date. Have you called HSN CS and asked if your item is getting ready to ship?

Thanks Ladies - I just checked the order status states "estimated Delivery December 11, 2014".

And yes, I thought they would be like QVC and not charge me for the item until it shipped.
Lesson learned.
