I just got my Clarisonic, and I can't figure something out...and I read all the instructions:

When I put it on the charger, there's no indicator to actually show if it's charging. I'm assuming it is...am I missing something? Is there supposed to be NO charging indicator?

Thank you in advance for any help.

I believe when it's fully charged it should stop blinking. Mine blinks when I first plug it in. It holds a charge for a really long time.

Isn't it a great product? My entire family uses it! We love it!!

mtnbikegirl is right--it will blink when charging, then turns to solid when fully charged.

Although you don't specifically say which type of Clarisonic you have, I assume when you say that you put it on the charger this means you have the larger model that goes on a base stand charging unit (as opposed to the Mia which has a magnet charger). On the larger unit, the small top light should blink when charging, or be solid green when fully charged. If you put the unit on the charger and there is no light, it means you haven't placed the unit on the charger correctly. Make sure it sits solidly on the base unit (the side with the lights should be facing out--towards you) until you see the green light. Also, there should be an instruction pamphlet included with your Clarisonic which should explain this.

That's always disappointing when you're the one to get a defective product, isn't it? And especially when customer service seems to not even care. But it happens to us all at some point, I guess.

All I can say is that Clarisonic has sold thousands, if not millions, of these devices and the overwhelming majority of them work as promised. I have had two for several years and use them daily with no problems at all.

Since you say you just got yours I assume you can still return it. You might want to try an exchange, rather than a refund, to see if you can get a workable unit. Good luck.

just went to youtube and there should be 4 lights on the machine itself, that light up green and it beeps when you place it in the charger. After all 4 lights are green, that means it is fully charged. If not, then you should call the company.

Are you talking about the one that was just the TSV? If so, make sure that you have the outside of the Clarisonic facing out from the charger. The brush head part needs to face the charging stand. The green lights are on the backside of the brush.

I know this sounds silly but have you tried plugging it into a different outlet just to be sure it is the Clarisonic and not your wall outlet? This has happened to me when the outlet was tripped and I needed to reset it. As soon as the brush is placed on the charging unit, you should hear a bleep to let you know it is charging (and then the lights on the handle blink until it is fully charged). Good luck!

The Mia model ( not the plus) has a green light that either indicates it's charging or it's charged ( I plug mine in after every use, so I don't pay attention to the light). The big clairisonic has a series of green lights that indicate it's charging or it's charged- again I plug mine in after each use, so I don't pay attention to the lights.
