Taking All Supplements at Same Time?

I recently ordered the Andrew Lessman Hair, Nails and Skin supplement. Due to really thinning hair plan to take the 2 per day at first . Is it better to take both at same time, or one twice daily? I think I read on one of the boards that if you take the big dose all at once it gets more into your system better. I had been thinking it would be better to split dose so as not to eliminate a lot of product. Thank you for your advice on this, really wanting this to,work! Susi.

Let me say firstly, I am not pro supplements. However, I do belong to the group that believes our bodies are designed to absorb and utilize best the nutrients we ingest in smaller quantities in an amount that would fit our individual needs. Meaning, at each meal we should be getting what we need for the immediate future, not overloading. This is only my opinion and I am sure you will be getting differing opinions. Be cautious with what you are combining as some supplements can knock each other out as you may already know. No point in wasting your money. I think your intuition is right on, split the dosages. Moderation is something I live by.

When multiple capsules and multiple servings are recommended, your label will usually say something like "take 2 capsules, 3 times a day". If the serving is 2 or 3 capsules, they should all be taken together, at the same time, or you would be getting an incomplete serving.

I'm not sure I understand you, though, Susic, because the recommended serving of the HHSN is 2 capsules per serving, meaning at one meal during the day you will take 2 capsules.

Thank you Sebastian, I do the best I can with eating the right foods. Since my thyroid is ok, think hair loss is hormonal. I never took anything but daily vitamin , and doctor put me on fish oil and red yeast rice for cholesterol. I ordered the AL Hair, Nail, Supplement just to try as has very good reviews for my thinning hair. That is my only venture into supplements. Since they are quite expensive, want to make sure I get the most out of their absorption process! Thank you again!
