Vizz Eye Drops

I've been seeing Sarah Jessica Parker doing commercials for eye drops called Vizz.. they are prescription only. One drop lasts 10 hours and is supposed to help correct age related blurry vision, so it takes the place of readers. I am at the stage where I don't need glasses to drive (yet) but am always whipping them out to read an expiration date on something in the grocery store.

Has anyone else been curious?

Vizz works by constricting the iris so what you see will be dimmed with less light. Not good for low-light conditions. I would not consider using them myself.

Vizz gives a 'pinhole effect' to temporarily improve vision.

If you have age related vision problems, seek out a good eye doctor who will probably recommend a retina specialist. I found out too late. I'm doing treatment with eye injections, but they can only do so much.

I think the poster is talking about what typically happens to people as they get older - the need for bifocals. The drops are a temporary solution for that.

The drug that is used for constriction of the pupil has a serious side effect of detached retina.
