I never used this before, but I noticed posters were talking about it.

WOW!

I find it much easier to use than myfitnesspal.com.

It even has nutrition totals for Tim Horton's - just a regional chain!

Thank you FitBit!

Anyone else enjoying it?

My FitBit was delivered late this afternoon. It's almost 11pm and I have it charging right now. I'll have to set it up tomorrow when I get home from work. I'm really looking forward to using this little device. I didn't realize it had its own Food Log. Thanks for posting!

I'm glad you like it.

I had used MFP for so long before getting my Fitbit One that I wanted to continue for the consistency.

I figure my own calories and find the calorie adjustments by both MFP & Fitbit to be annoying. I ignore those because I set my calories based on my activity level. I don't need to adjust when I exercise. I've also noticed that Fitbit sometimes gives extra calories & later takes them away. That won't be helpful if someone already ate those extra calories.

Hi Terrier.

As I said on the FitBit walking thread, I am in LOVE with the Food Log. I have only been walking and counting since last Friday and I lost over two pounds! It's all because I am so much more aware of calorie count and fat content. I have even had a couple days that I am 'under' my daily caloric allotment. I want to lose 14 pounds total and my Dashboard tells me that I have 11.3 pounds to go. For the first time EVER I really feel that I am being encouraged and guided. I realize that 2 pounds is not typical for any weight loss program in only a week and I certainly don't expect the rest of it to fall off, but WATCHING and feeling accountable is helping me to stay on track. I eliminated all sugar and starch from my diet and am eating very healthy - thanks to the Food Log.

I haven't utilized this feature yet as losing weight was not my motivation for purchasing. I really wanted to have an idea of my activity level days I wasn't working out. The reason this device is so incredible, at least to me, is you can become as passive or aggressive with its use as you choose to be. Its fun, amazing, motivating and worth every cent. I did not purchase the flex, I bought the zip almost a week ago. Love the stair counting feature and being able to see all my "stats" anytime I want. It is something that certainly grows with you as you continue to use. Love it!

First week weight in - down 2 pounds this week - exactly the rate I wanted to lose and punched into the program!

I want to lose 10 pounds by the end of August, but want to start more quickly and reach my goal in 6 weeks instead of 8.

After I'm down 5, I'll re-program to continue losing slower (I hope it works).

Last night I noticed around 8 that I needed more activity to accommodate for calories taken in...the terrier & I went for a 2 mile walk.

I really recommend this (at least so far!)

I enjoy the Food Log. I also log my water. I surpassed my weight loss goal at yesterday's weigh-in. Woo Hoo. 15 pounds GONE. I'm kinda excited and may want to lose 5 more just for the heck of it. It will be so nice to get rid of the dual sizes crowding my closets!!!! I log every bite I eat. No cheating with the Food Log.

I do WISH the Food Log . . . had SUGAR grams . . . I'd much rather know my sugar grams instead of sodium grams but that's just me.

The Food Log keeps me "honest" with myself!

I just set up my Fitbit scales this past weekend . . . from Kohl's with Kohl's Cash, well 70.00 Kohl's Cash so almost like half price . . . only problem is when I first step on . . . it confuses me with me 20 year old daughter . . . because as of now with my weight loss we are within 3 pounds of each other although I must admit my % of body fat is probably about 6-7% higher than hers but I'm working on that too . . . but alas I am older and have had a couple of children but I would like to drop it a few more % points and with weights and some good old fashioned push-up's . . . I hope to do that.

edit typo
