It doesn't have to be so bouncy. At least with the Bellicon, you can choose the strength of the "pad" (I don't know what to call that thing). I chose the strongest because I mainly just do quick steps and side-to-side steps. I never feel unstable. I don't do the jumping like you see children doing on their enormous backyard trampolines. It's just a low-impact and fun thing to do while watching tv.

I bought a nice one during covid to use while working from home, and gyms closed.
it folds down well, where it has been for a while! I need to access it for some jogging or hopping when I don't want to do gym.

They are nice for some cardio, doesn't do anything for bones, so think that's why is folded up! I was more into strength training!

Yes, I started around 2003 with an Urban Rebounder from HSN. After I wore that out, I purchased a Jump Sport. The Urban Rebounder was a spring rebounder and the jump sport used bungees. I would definitely purchase a bungee rebounder.

During Covid, I splurged and purchased a Bellicon Rebounder. Bellicon is supposed to be top of the line. If you are new to rebounding, I think a jump sport is good quality.

I would not buy a rebounder that folds, those seem unstable. I would definitely get the hand rails.

YOu can do anything that you want to do on a rebounder. Just walk on it and hold on, or bounce a little. Start slow. It is great exercise and it is something that I will stick to.

I checked to see if my Y had them so I could try it out, but they don't keep them. My only reservation is the room it would take to have and use one. I'd want a larger one I think.....and I don't have a spare room for it. Besides, I'd want to use it in front of a TV maybe and I just don't have room in my family room or living room where I have TVs. I'd love to hear more about others' use of one. They look like fun!

@JeanLouiseFinch Of course I have one! lol

I researched a lot and decided not to get one of the inexpensive "starter" rebounders that many recommended. I didn't want to spend $100 to find out I liked it enough to get a better one.

I ended up getting a PURPLE 39 inch JumpSport Pro with a handlebar (helps with balance and adds versatility, can be removed). It cost a bit more but it is adjustable and, did I mention it is PURPLE...? lol

I highly recommend Earth & Owl on YT. Youll get answers to questions you don't even know to ask and you'll have fun.

Rebounding is probably very different than you think it is.But it has lots of health benefits. All levels of fitness can use one. I'm positive my 30 something neighbor uses hers differently than I do. And that is how it should be! Rebounding is not really like jumping on a big trampoline.
