Hi @monicakm - wanted to let you know that when I was at PT yesterday, I talked with my PT again about the pain I'm having and she thought it would be a good idea to call my Dr and let them know. I did so and my pain meds were adjusted. The meds are the same, it's just when I take them has changed. Tried the new way last night and I slept through the night, only waking up once to take a pain pill. What was especially wonderful was waking up this morning with little to no pain.

Thank you again for all your support, suggestions, advice, and just being there for me during this recovery.

Meanwhile, I'm back to my knee compression wrap and exercising it. I'll let you know as things go along. Take care - and I'll be praying for your pain to ease up!

The first 7-10 days were the roughest. I was off all prescription pains meds in 5 days. Only took Tylenol after that. Didn't even take Oxy before PT. At my 2 week checkup the doctor asked me what my pain level was and it was zero. I was able to lift my leg off the bed right away. I never used a cane and only used a walker for about 2 weeks. The second one was easier than the first maybe because I knew what to expect. I still have stiffness if I sit to long but other than that it wasn't all that awful.
