I have a sister who suffers from celiac, so I know all the limitations, but you certainly go above and beyond!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms, sans-serif" size="4" color="#993300"&gt;If we all ate like you, just think how much healthier we would be. Preparation of all those vegetables is admirable, but such a good idea to only do prep a couple times a week.       <description>&lt;P&gt;6 weeks ago I had my Medicare Wellness check up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I was weighed I almost had heart failure!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I knew I put on weight since the loss of my dear twin last year, just not that much.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What did I do? I ate whatever I wanted for weeks, not constant eating or huge amounts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;About three weeks ago I felt horrible and knew I had to take control. Once I make my mind up, I'm all in.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I threw out sugar, flour, drinks except for water and instant coffee.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Processed foods prepared &amp;nbsp;in the freezer, all went to the trash.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Canned foods-trashed because of the sodium content. Bread went out too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My gift cards for the local donut shop, when I take My Reilley for a walk each morning near the donut shop, there's always homeless there and when I am asked for money, which I never have on my person, I offer to take them in and use my gift card so that they can have coffee and &amp;nbsp;donuts, I love maple bars and donuts, and in my town these are the best.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have lost 22 pounds in less than 3 weeks, by cutting out all the good stuff.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This morning after our walk, I was hungry, I mean hungry, hunger took me over.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Reilley and I drove to Safeway and I purchased small salmon fillets and his favorite cut up watermelon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By this time it's after 6:30 am, &amp;nbsp;I drove to a McDonalds close by, drove in and asked for a fish sandwich, hold the cheese, please. Sorry mam we're only serving breakfast, you'll have to come back at 10:30.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm still hungry!🤤&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BTW, all can foods which were still within the expiration date, I put out on a bench in the shopping center, where we walk.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/54991"&gt;@Alsace Gal&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;It's always a bad feeling for me too whenever I've gained weight. &amp;nbsp;However, it really sounds as though you're on the best possible track you could be. &amp;nbsp;Congrats on your weight loss! &amp;nbsp;😃❤️❤️&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I applaud you for being able to get rid of all the stuff that helps keep weight on. &amp;nbsp;I've never been good at dieting. &amp;nbsp;When I used to really exercise, I would always be starving afterwards too.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I watch that show on TLC with Dr. Now. &amp;nbsp;He's a bariatric surgeon who helps people to lose weight. &amp;nbsp;Of course he gives them a list of foods to avoid and limit their daily calorie intake to 1200. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;His book shows them exercises to do, but that's mainly for those patients with zero stamina or bed bound. &amp;nbsp;I've noticed he tells people who are mobile that the exercise is not going to help them reach their weight loss goal. &amp;nbsp;That can only be achieved by cutting calories.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;He's even mentioned that "grazing" throughout the day, which I'm guilty of, won't help to shrink the stomache.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;But, it doesn't matter what time you eat as long as you're eating the right foods and don't go over the calorie limit for the day. &amp;nbsp;It's a really interesting show. &amp;nbsp;I've learned a lot about healthy eating.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I used to take part in long distant bicycle riding. I have always been short and my legs heavy, when I started biking, my legs changed, they became slim and toned! This was a long time ago.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did watch a couple episodes of the show you mentioned, he does help so many.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would love to have a tummy tuck, however, at my age, I won't be naked in front of anyone, except for a doctor.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I had the money, I would have a lower face and neck lift.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheriere, the &amp;nbsp;reason I lost that amount of weight is because I wasn't eating enough.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;One of my closest friends just got home from having gastric sleeve surgery. We were both talking about the excess skin that will eventually happen to her. She is not looking forward to that but will be thrilled to lose the weight. She weighed in at close to 300 lbs and her goal is to go down to 150 but she said at least 20 to 30 pounds of that will be hanging skin after the weight loss is done. She's 65yo. I'm praying for her.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I ate approximately 4 ounces of lean protein, salmon, and both lean ground beef and white meat chicken, but, both of those are very high in Cholesterol. You don want to do this. Don starve yourself.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm now following the original Weight Watchers diet plan from the sixties and seventies, with modifications.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;No flour, sugars, salt and dairy. I use olive oil, at least 2 tablespoons a day so that my skin doesn't dry out and flake.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I love salmon, it's expensive, I have started eating canned tuna in water, by the best you can.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Fresh vegetables are excellent There's a Trader Joe's here and I buy their cut up vegetables and eat those. You can probably find them in any store.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You should see your primary care physician and ask for their suggestions.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I noticed the heart healthy foods are low in sodium but concerned about the carbs.&amp;nbsp; More options for heart healthy meals instead of the lower sodium .But this will be counting calories and portion control . I have stomach issues and heart burn and concern about spices but it's a start.&amp;nbsp; I have loss more water weight but still a long way to go.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5"&gt;Trying to find healthier foods to eat and not feel hungry is frustrating.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But, 22lbs in less than 3 weeks is a lot of weight loss. So, I bet you are hungry. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Your body is rebelling, trying to push you into stopping for one of those donuts :-). In fact, I'm craving one myself, right now, just reading about them.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Don't know what your total goal is, and it's great that you're losing, but maybe you would feel better (with fewer cravings) &amp;nbsp;if you slowed down the process, maybe shooting for a couple pounds of weight loss a week. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Can't promise you'll be much less hungry. Every time I go on a 1,200 calorie diet, some days, I'm like a hungry wolf. It's so hard, to lose weight, but it's safer to lose a little slower.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Cute that Reilley likes watermelon. I can totally relate. I have a very hard time with food prep b/c my hands are so messed up. It's hard to cut up veggies so I buy frozen pre-cut ones instead. That's just only part of it. I can go on...but the bottom line for me is the cost of buying prepared meals. I can't afford it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I haven't ordered yet because you have to enter your information and credit card. They deliver in the USA .
