Trader Joe's has a great, affordable "Very Green" supplement - $10 for 180 tablets (lasts for 3 months). It has all kinds of greens, plus pro-biotics.

I take a good chewable multi it, vitamin D and calcium. most people don't take enough Vit. D my doc told me it is really hard to take too much. She checks my levels twice a year or more, I have run low, so she put me on super high doses for a few months, a weekly dose, and told me to take at least 2000 daily in addition. The recommended dose used to be 400 but it should be at least twice that.

Just remember that supplements should be thoroughly researched just as prescription and OTC medications should be.

Too much of anything one puts in one's body can be just as, or more, dangerous than too little. Many supplements interact negatively with a lot of meds. Be especially careful of mega doses that are advertised by various "naturopathic doctors." One of my daughters got caught up in that for a while, and started to realize that she was getting worse, not better, so she stopped.

Many supplements work just fine . . . just do your homework.

None. My blood work is good. I'm well within the normal range on everything.

Exercise and OTC (Tylenol and/or aspirin) is keeping my arthritis in check.
