Plain Greek yogurt with cinammon and berries, fresh or frozen That is my after dinner snack. I have read to add some sugar free chocolate instant pudding, or any flavor, to the yogurt, which sounds good to me, especially the chocolate flavor, but I keep forgetting to try it. . Sometimes I make sugar free pudding, put on top of broken up graham crackers, topped with fat free cool whip.

Hard to eat good all the time and much easier for me to do in summertime or when I am busy. I allow myself treats but limit how much too.

For me chocolate pudding does the trick. I get the sugar free and keep on hand in fridge. Also, small cups of ice cream every now and then. I purchase portion control sizes and if I buy salty items I either buy smaller size or repackage into snack size bags.

There are plenty of reduced calorie snacks available but the trick is to limit how many or how often as well.

I find when I eat a decent meal the urge to snack is less for me. If I start in snacking then I just want to keep on snacking. So decent meal first if I can but sometimes I just need a little something sooner too.

My idea would be to train yourself to not eat anything after dinner, works for me, I never do any eating in between meals. Just tell yourself, NO!, maybe try eating dinner a little later than you do now. Also, try to leave your kitchen after dinner ,and not return. I turn my kitchen light off and go upstairs to my bedroom, watch TV up there and try to tell myself I am done eating for the day. Kitchen is closed !!!

They are rated, you can look it up.

I have 1 or 2 squares of Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate 86% (low in heavy metals) after dinner.

Just know that if you aren't used to the taste it is less sweet and slightly bitter but after eating for awhile it gets better and now, for me, milk chocolate tastes too sweet and really not like chocolate at all.
