I just saw on the today show,it is spreading through the us, only soap and water to use on hands,sanitizers do not work,and bleach and water to kill.

Oh my gosh, my whole family contracted Norovirus three years ago during the holidays. It was just like that scene in Bridesmaids, if you’ve seen that movie. Awful.

Norovirus can remain viable on surfaces for a very long time, 2 weeks to sometimes months depending on the situation.

This Nirovirus has been climbing up and down the northeast coast for weeks.

Here in PA, we are back to wearing masks to doctor's offices, nursing homes and hospitals again. There have been some outbreaks that have closed down classrooms.

I felt a little off and stayed close to the bathroom about two weeks ago. It didn't last long. I might have had a touch of it.

I visit a senior center a few times a week that has been hit hard with it.

Why wouldn't you still be watching the news?

When bad things happen and you aren't prepared because you don't follow the news, that's on you and not very smart.

Being uninformed doesn't make things go away or make things go your way. It just keeps you in the dark.

One piece of advice I got was to assign a bathroom to the patient for their sole use. And keep the door closed at all times. If you get my drift......

@Still Raining .. That might be good advice except for the fact that a lot of homes only have one bathroom.
