For those who take Jardiance what is your cost if you do not mind sharing...My hub pays $450 for 3 month supply. Is this a pretty "normal" price?

@bargainsgirl - I don't about the drug you were asking about but I do know that most drug prices went up in January - hubby's one med jumped from less than $50 for a three month supply to over $400 for a month's supply.

Yes, that just might be the worst commercial EVER. I can't mute it fast enough! And have you noticed there's now a second version featuring the same horrible song but with different performers? MAKE IT STOP!!!!!

Sorry, @bargainsgirl, for being of no help but Jardiance struck a nerve. HA! All I can say is my friend mentioned several months ago that her husband is taking Mounjaro and I think the cost was even higher that what you mentioned. I wasn't paying much attention but do remember thinking, "WOW!"

Sorry about that increase!! I don't take it but my thyroid med went from $55 for 3 mos to $120 in January ! OUCH!

I take Synjardy, which is Jardiance and metformin I believe. The cost is about $850 per month. When I was on Blue Cross work insurance I usually paid $25 a month. Now that I am on Medicare, I pay $11.00 a month, when I hit the doughnut hole, it jumps to around $165 per month.

I also do not like the Jardiance singing commercial LOL.

@KingstonMom my brother-in-law takes it and somehow I just can't picture him bursting through the front door and dancing down the street while singing about the wonders of one little pill.

That is a high amount. I only pay twenty dollars a month for my Jardiance.

How about lose weight, control your diet, then see if you still need the "one little pill"?

Yes, I'm sure it helps some people who can't otherwise control their Type II diabetes, but Big Pharma just wants to sell another "miracle cure", IMO.

("I have Type II diabetes, but I manage it well" No, you don't. "It's a little pill with a big story to tell." Yep, just take a pill and it's all better.)

The choreography is really bad. It makes me think that the choreographer was a cheerleader or cheerleading coach.

@CelticCrafter - I agree and for those who can't control their A1C any other way, I'm sure it's helpful.

But showcasing someone clearly obese isn't - IMO - the best way to advertise the benefits of any such medication. There are people of normal weight who also suffer from Type II diabetes.

And we all know that this country has a huge (absolutely no pun intended) obesity problem. No use denying that. Many could do something about that first.

@bargainsgirl Hi I also take Jardiance and my copay is $60 for a three month supply it doesn't sound normal to me I have Medicare and blue cross ppo. Your husband's cost does not sound right.
