Started in 1843, it has been comparing the effect of inorganic [artificial] fertilisers and organic manures on winter wheat. It has specifically examined the levels of iron and zinc in wheat grown under different farming methods," explains Steve McGrath, a professor in soil and plant science at Rothamsted Research in the UK.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"First, our findings show that it isn't a lack of micronutrients in the soil that is driving the lower nutrients in the crop. I think there is a lot of truth to it. I have come to the conclusion that I will only spend money on those vitamins the doctor says I need from blood tests and those I feel that help me.&amp;nbsp; For example, when I don't take Vit. C my gums are more tender and will bleed more easily. It's just too expensive, imo, to take everything so I kind of pick and choose.&amp;nbsp; The Dr. said my Vit D was off so I started taking it and now it is back where it should be.&amp;nbsp; It is hard to know sometimes what our bodies need and how much they are depleted by the food we eat and the air we breath.&amp;nbsp; Anymore, I try to eat right so I feel better while I'm alive and not worry as much about&amp;nbsp; how many years I have.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I alternate with Andrew Lessman Essential One and CQ10 every other day.&amp;nbsp; I also take his Zinc and Vitamin C to help my immune system, especially in winter.&amp;nbsp; My Vitamin D is included in my multi Essential One.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I'd like to try his hair, skin and nails supplement to see if it would make a difference at all but I haven't yet.&amp;nbsp; I don't want to "overtake" either.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I What am I not taking would be a shorter list. The most I order on HSN is Andrew's vitimins.&amp;nbsp; All through the day and 3 at night. I don't take any other brand of vitamins. Love listening to his explainations of each vitamin. Good information. So far blood work great.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the usual old age symptons, but nothing like some younger than me, maybe in their 70''s.&amp;nbsp; I do exercise everyday. Have been for 65+ years.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I believe that is what has gotten me to where I am health wise.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The vitamins are a plus to add to my diet, which is OK, but not strict.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have lived longer than my parents, grandparents, husbands.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Grandmother lived to 86, my dad 82.&amp;nbsp; I hope to be able to make 90 and still have the health and to take care of myself as I can now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No outside help yet. I think a lot of people are living longer today. Moving ones body if you can is important and a good outlook.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good diet helps.&amp;nbsp; No fast or process foods.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I really like the Andrew lessman vitamins but I agree if you take the 'essential 1' I watch what else I take.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My dr told me that most people should take 4-5,000 units of vitamin d. Not sure if that's because we live north (lack of sunshine). But you can ask to be tested (blood test). I was tested by my gynecologist and told to take 5000 units a day.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also take vitamin c - I think it really helps your immunity for colds etc but I'll have to look in to zinc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I periodically take the hair skin and nails vitamin and the ultimate eye support vitamin. &amp;nbsp;I really don't take them tho if I take the essential 1.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Whatever you decide I highly recommend Andrew lessman! Never have any stomach issues from taking his vitamins. &amp;nbsp;Also, I have a family member that's a nutritionist that told me all vitamins aren't equal - Andrew lessman is one of the brands she recommends. &amp;nbsp;Made in USA .&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I think a lot of people are living longer today. Moving ones body if you can is important and a good outlook.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good diet helps.&amp;nbsp; No fast or process foods.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;My thoughts exactly. I take a lot of Lessman vitamins and I won't ever stop. I am very healthy and I will continue taking these supplements.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
