Any Balance of Nature Users?

To those who take this supplement, do you feel it really helps? I am such a skeptic of products like this and given the cost and membership they try to lure you into, I am reluctant to try. However, if it really is as good as they say, I would give it a try.

I would never fall into the trap of these commercials. The only supplements I take are Andrew Lessman's. I trust him, but not the ones you're speaking of. These companies are all about the money, not your health. Unfortunately, people are always willing to say and do anything for a buck.

@Sapphiregal I'm not trying any product that is not completely upfront about the costs. Just don't trust this.

No, definitely not. It's pretty expensive as well. I eat plenty of fruits every day. I don't eat as many vegetables but I try. I'm not looking to take even more pills, even if they are supposed to be just dehydrated fruits and vegetables basically. I believe in getting the most of my goodness from my foods - not pills like this.

I take Andrew Lessman's version of these supplements -- (1) Fruit Full Anti-Oxidant Extracts and (2) Green Foods Complex -- in the powder form. They are around $100 each but that includes 600 servings. I mix them in with my morning protein shake. I'm not sure of the cost of Balance of Nature products.

DH takes a similar fruit/veggie supplement that sells on Costco's website. It is less money but is almost identical( I did a side by side comparison of the labels). DH has been taking them for over a year and says he can feel a difference. It is called Fruit Festiv by Natrol. You get two bottles, one is fruit and one is veggies. I couldn't use them because you take 6 big capsules per day, three of each. I have trouble swallowing capsules. I check the website periodically to see if/when they are on sale and order ahead so he doesn't run out. I think it Natrol sells this on other sites now, but it was much more expensive other places I found it. There are good reviews on the site.

Once a day vitamins have a small amount of lots of vitamins. They kill my stomach so I have never been able to tolerate them. I take AREDS 2 and the zinc in it makes it hard to take those too.
