Hope that you take the time to read and think about the responses from @hckynutjohn and @simplyfriends! They have given you sound advice -- and not "hot tips." This is a matter that should be addressed by the physician who prescribed the medication, the person who has many years of medical training and is responsible for your care. Your issue may be more complex than it appears and a bunch of strangers from across the country are not in a position to give you sound medical advice. In fact, some of the advice may be contraindicated in your case. I hope for the best professional resolution or explanation for your side effects and that you feel better soon!

You can also try pedialyte that helps me as well with water. I hope you feel better soon, I know how it feels to have that dizzy feeling.

You say you got a script from your Dr. Did he/she see you in person? Did you have blood work done? There are many reasons for your dizziness and you said it's happened before. Are you also taking a blood pressure med or an anxiety med? If so they could be interacting or even causing your symptoms. You should take the time for a complete physical. I hope you feel better. I don't expect you to answer... I just wanted to give you my thoughts.

It makes me very sleepy, I'm retired so can lie down. Look for the exercise for this on your computer, it's a great help, takes little time, and should help after a few days. Good luck because it's a terrible feeling to be tired and can't get a 15 rest. have you had your carotids checked for blockage?

@HLP for me I take Valium and it calms it down. Haven't had to take it in years. I ended up in the hospital with vertigo and hope that never happens again.

If you feel like dehydration could be a problem, try the Pedialyte freezer pops. We keep them on-hand since one of the grands will have tummy troubles from time to time; I had a big box of them in the freezer when DH got Covid....he didn't want to eat and felt terrible...he finished off the box of the Pedialyte pops and they helped a lot. I agree that maybe seeing the dr would be a good move. The dizziness could be related to your BP and maybe your meds need to be changed.
