I got mine, the Flex, two weeks ago yesterday. I love it. Got my first 50 mile badge yesterday. I log every bite I eat in it . . . keeps me honest . . . that 10 pounds I always wanted to lose had turned into 15 pounds, not good, and I've already lost 6 of it in two weeks.

I had bought quite a few items at Kohl's recently and had Kohl's Cash to spend so it was basically *FREE* . . . since all I spend Kohl's Cash on these days is kcups since they changed the policy on them and IF you return the item you lose the cash . . .unless you exchange for something the exact exact same price which is not easy to do. Yay for *free*.

The sleep feature is very interesting. I had to change it back to normal . .. sensitive was way too sensitive. Most nights I'm @ 94% or above efficiency. Drinking almost 80 oz of water per day these days . . . 100% is impossible.

I wear it on my right wrist although I'm left handed and I have the right wrist selected as my "dominant" hand even though it isn't so it adjusts somewhat for extra hand motions/movements.

Logging food is much easier than MyFitnessPal . . .but then I tend to eat a lot of the same things for breakfast & lunch . . . so just a click.

Logging water helps keep me on track . . . just a click.

And I downloaded the app to my android phone so it automatically updates and then a sync regularly when I'm on my laptop too.

I have some Tanita scales . . . with body fat . . . for whatever that is worth but I am tempted by the Aria (sp?) Fitbit one . . . maybe next time I have some Kohl's Cash to splurge with.

So now, 8 or 9 pounds to go and I will be at my GOAL WEIGHT!

Hi...

I was wondering if anyone has the fit bit band and how they like it...I have the little one and I wanted to get the band...I also in early June Fit Bit was going to be a TSV...does anyone know what that is? Not sure if I should wait...thanks

I have the flex and I like it. Sometimes I keep it in my pocket instead of on my wrist, and it still works fine that way too. I don't know anything about the fit bit TSV.

I also have the zip. I love it wear it clipped to my pocket or bra every day. I put it on my dresser at night and grab it every morning. I love it!! I don't think I would ever go for the bracelet version. I think the rubber would irritate my skin. sometimes if I clip my zip to the waistband of my pants, instead of my pocket, I get a little irritation. I love how it syncs to my phone so I can't track my steps and activity.

I have been wanting one but just dont know if I want to go for the fitbit or just a good pedometer. I dont get into all the online stuff so that piece doesnt entice me. But so many people love their fitbits, I might just have to go for it. I, too, was wondering if I should get the wrist or just the clip on, if I do get one.

So funny to see your post! I received a Fitbit today as my belated Mother's Day gift! I haven't even moved yet with it on but wanted to check to see if anyone on the boards had comments about it. So far so good and easy to set up. Looking forward to learning more about it and will continue to check the boards for comments.

My dog gave it to me so that I'd take him for more walks, I guess we better get moving so I can test it out...

How many steps it thinks I am taking varies a lot depending on where I wear Fitbit.

It counts steps, miles, floors, & "active" minutes. If I walk up a steep hill it might count as a floor. It I'm walking fast it counts as an active minute. I have the One; it also tracks sleep and calories consumed and burned. It syncs with MyFitnessPal and several other apps/sites.

I wear a Polar Heart Rate Monitor for water aerobics. A woman in my class said she burned 630 calories in class according to her fit bit that she put in her bra.

I burned 230. We are probably close in weight and age. Even if she was working harder than I was, I would buy 460 as accurate. 630 is just plain wrong and I hope that she does some research before she eats all those calories every week.
