My hubby wears a fitbit also - so far no problems. If it's been happening to you since you have been wearing it, wonder if it's defective?

I have a FitBit Sense which I have been wearing for the past year and a half. I had noticed before that at times I would have a burn mark on the top of my wrist. Now that they are monitoring sleep temperature it seems to be happening all the time. I had to stop wearing it.

I love the big screen of the sense so I don't want to go with something small.

I'm thinking of purchasing an Apple Watch instead. Has anyone experienced a burn on their wrist from the Apple Watch or Garmin.

The fitbit website indicates they are made of Stainless Steel but no mention if its the whole watch or a portion (the metal in the sensor area is different)

The burn area is where the sensors are located. You may be correct with the fungal reaction. I hadn't thought of that, I will try some anti-fungal ointment.
