Burn on Wrist from FitBit

I have a FitBit Sense which I have been wearing for the past year and a half. I had noticed before that at times I would have a burn mark on the top of my wrist. Now that they are monitoring sleep temperature it seems to be happening all the time. I had to stop wearing it.

I love the big screen of the sense so I don't want to go with something small.

I'm thinking of purchasing an Apple Watch instead. Has anyone experienced a burn on their wrist from the Apple Watch or Garmin.

@mimomof4 You may have an allergy to the metal from which the back is made or you could be sweating under the watch which causes a fungal reaction. Does the back say "stainless steel"?

@Kachina624 No the back does not state "Stainless Steel" on the back of the watch specifically. The fitbit website indicates they are made of Stainless Steel but no mention if its the whole watch or a portion (the metal in the sensor area is different)

The burn area is where the sensors are located. You may be correct with the fungal reaction. I hadn't thought of that, I will try some anti-fungal ointment.

@mimomof4 - Wow, that's scary. My hubby wears a fitbit also - so far no problems. If it's been happening to you since you have been wearing it, wonder if it's defective?
