I have this condition and wondered what you all find to be the best treatment. I use Systane lid wipes and eye drops. I used to use the foam eye cleanser but cannot find it any longer. My eye doctor highly recommended this. Now they have a spray which I bought but do not like. Pricey and you must use a cotton pad to apply.

The foam cleanser is available on Walmart dot com.

I ordered some a few months ago.

Edited to add: The brand I ordered and use is OCuSOFT. It is a foaming cleanser and is excellent. I have had very good results with it.

I have very sensitive eyes/eye lids and take eye drops for my eye condition. I searched years for a good eye makeup remover as they all aggravated my condition. I now use Sephora eye makeup remover and it works great. I use a cotton pad to remove my makeup then wipe my eyes with a clean wet flannel. It costs about $12 and lasts ages. It's worth a try and Sephora will refund you if it doesn't work. Good luck.

I use baby shampoo to clean my eyelids, eye lashes, and eye brows every day. This is what my doctor advised to do for maintenance after finishing my prescription eye drops. It's been over a year and the blepharitis has not come back.

Warm compresses help so much to open up oil glands and loosen debris. The wipes can be used next to wipe this away.

WrIng out a washcloth that you wet with warm water or buy eye compresses especially made for this or dry eyes you put in the microwave.

I've been using Blink eye wipes. But as Pure N Simple said, warm compresses are a big help.

Just found out that I also have this, never heard about it before. Eyes were infected, gave prescription salve, told to use hot compresses, baby shampoo, did not say anything about wipes. May have to look into that! Also, every night I have to use a salve, over the counter, Retaine PM, hate this stuff, like putting a goop of glue in eyes before bedtime. Now my question for you ladies do any of you wake up with crusted eyelids? I also use Xiidra drops twice a day for dry eye.

I had that years ago and my doctor told me to get Hydrocortizone cream 1% and rub a tad on my eyelid. Cleared mine up in short order.

I have used Jason brand tea tree shampoo to wash my eyelids, or baby shampoo with a drop of tea tree oil, with good results of quickly clearing up blepharitis. If you try it keep your eyes tightly shut and rinse well as the tea tree does burn.

Once cleared up, I use Walgreen's eye itch relief drops (ketotifen fumarate) each morning after washing my face. At a pharmacist's recommendation, I apply one drop to each eyelid. Helps prevent allergy-induced blepharitis.

Try Eye Scrub wipes for makeup removal and cleansing. Pricey but they help eye irritation issues and recommended by opthalmologists. Prime offers them. Also, temporarily stopping use of eye makeup and contacts will help immensely.

This tends to run in families. My mother had it and I have it and it can be very annoying. I have extremely dry eye at night.

I have done the eye wipes and have not found much help in that manner. I have also done a warm washcloth on eyes for a bit of time and that has helped. I agree with previous notes with the issue of using baby shampoo with a swab or with a cotton pad and then washing.

I wish I could state something that has helped for a long time--I have not found one.

I get this on an off. A drop of baby shampoo on a warm wet washcloth. It works great and not expensive like the wipes.

I use the Ocusoft wipes and teatree

oil to keep it at bay. The condition comes back to a lesser degree once in a while, but all of the above suggestions help as well. I cut the Ocusoft

pads into quarters and they last quite a while.

I've unfortunately had this for years. It waxes and wanes. I was told to use very warm, wet compresses on the eyes 2ce daily for about 10 minutes. This really soothes. Also, the Occusoft eye wipes are good. Baby shampoo is economical and works just as well. I will occasionally get it so badly that I have to get a prescription eye gel to use at night which is a pain as you can't see much once you use it as your eyes get all bleary.

I suffered with this for years. One Christmas, my eyes were so red, I looked like some devil creature.

My dermatologist, years ago, told me to just put some Cortisone ointment on my lids. Ointment, not cream.

I've been doing this ever since and have not had a problem ever again.

After a shower, I just smear a very tiny amount on my lids.

Voila!!!

I use Clearidex. Tea Tree Oil is the main thing in it and it was rough on my skin but it works! Try a little Vaseline after and you will get rid of your problem.
