Tomorrow at 2:30 pm will be two weeks since my second Pfizer dose and I am thrilled! I will continue to mask and social distance, but I am just so happy to be vaccinated. After the first dose, I was a little tired the next day, but that was it. The day after the 2nd dose, I was fine the first part of the day, but did start running a fever for about 8 hours, it ranged from 100.2 to 100.4. I didn't take anything for it and even did a Walmart grocery pickup, but I did feel crappy, had a few muscle aches and spent a few hours on the couch under a throw afterwards. Then about 8pm I was back to normal. Without a doubt, it was worth it!!!

Huzzah! I'm on my way to becoming fully vaccinated. I had my first Pfizer shot today. And I'm not even feeling arm soreness.

While I was waiting the 15 minutes after my shot I did do the chicken dance arms and moved my arm around a lot. That may be the secret to my success.

I am still expecting something or other to bother me today. I'll update with whether or not I feel anything later. Going great so far!

It was a county site. There was a long line of cars which made me happy to see. Though there was a winding area we drove through at first that could accommodate even more. They didn't ask for ID or insurance. They just matched up my confirmation printout and my name to their list.

They asked me the usual questions. (They did ask if I'd had any other vaccines lately, so I thought that was interesting.) I said no to them. I dangled my arm out the car window. And a guy who was old enough to have gotten through med school a long while back and who had a doctorly demeanour gave me the shot.

And I'm scheduled for shot 2 at the same time same place in three weeks. This has all been really really easy ever since I got my first appointment set up.

Yay! Congratulations!

My husband and I have had both and no reaction to either. I was like you expecting something to happen. So when I went to bed that night I was sure I would wake up in the middle of the night with a fever or something. But no. Then when I woke in the morning I was sure I would have body aches. Nothing. 😁

I had the Pfizer vaccine and I had no ill effects from the first shot. 2 days after the second shot, I was tired. I also had a large red area at the injection site. I took Aleve and the red area went away pretty quick. That was it, I am so happy to be vaccinated.

As a poster asked, why do you have to take a picture of the vaccination card? Just put the card in a safe place. There is really no point in taking a picure of the card, unless a person is disorganized and thinks they'll lose it.

Just put the card in a safe place. There is really no point in taking a picure of the card, unless a person is disorganized and thinks they'll lose it.

@teganslaw -exactly. They suggest you take a picture of it, in case you lose it. I am sure it happens.

I already got nail polish on my vaccine card. Don't ask...I'm a mess! lol

At least it's only a little bit and it's to one side on the back. The important info was spared. Trying to remove it just started messing up the card so I stopped.

So my card has been customized with a jaunty dash of red on the back. I'm definitely taking a picture before I manage to do anything else to it. If anyone could lose their card or somehow set it on fire, I'm your girl.
