Has anyone found the knee high wide calf compression socks to be helpful?

I purchased the TSV a few weeks ago (?) and do not find them to be anything special...

Also, having a tough time getting them on...

Any suggestions for comfortable compression knee high socks?

Thanks...

While I would love to wear the compression stockings that are fashionable, due to a prior DVT I wear the medical grade with a very strong compression.

The reason I mention this is that my mother wears the the knee high in the medical grade and she has open toe (as do I but I wear a thigh high stocking on one leg with open toe--sandals are important )

The medical grade high compression stockings are somewhat difficult to put on but once on I do not find them to be uncomfortable. Those of us with venous insufficiency really need these. I do use a metal frame to get them on which makes it a lot easier. I wear the open toe ones also. My problem is that at the end of the day I'm too tired to get them off!
