Question for Andrew Lessman

I have just noticed yesterday when I dropped a capsule that it squished when I picked it up, that my Andrew Lessman vitamins are half empty in their capsules, I have checked other of his bottles of vitamins as I have many & the majority are also half empty. I've been buying for years & spending much money on these to not be getting what's being paid for. I will be keeping an eye on future orders..... this really bummed me out!

PS. I like you Andrew & the knowledge you have on your products, please look into this as I really don't want to look for another vendor.

Maybe it's like cereal boxes that are only filled 2/3 or 3/4 of the way but the weight is correct.

@Upstate NY Hm, that sounds odd. I just checked my recent order of Essential 1, and those caps are stuffed. With pressure, you can't even dent the capsule.

I've had other supplements and never noticed half empty caps either. Maybe you should go to ProCaps online and see if CS can assist.

Andrew doesn't use fillers. It's possible that the required daily amount of that particular product doesn't quite fill out the area in a capsule but I do not think he is cheating you on product amounts. Maybe if you said which product it is, others here could look at their supply and compare.

Seems it would be a waste of the capsule not to have it filled, as there are different size capsules for different vitamins. I just never noticed, but since being retired, life has slowed down a bit & starting to notice a little more.....I'll follow through on contacting his company. Thank you for your suggestion!

Since this brand does not to have anything independently verified, you have no way of knowing what is or should be in them.

If you are concerned, check around.

It's not the designated amount of capsules (I didn't go as far as to count capsules) but the powder contents. I wouldn't think the powder could settle 1/2 of the contents. I even thought maybe they ran short of small capsules & used bigger ones to package? Plus, I think Andrew would mention capsule settlement in his on air time. He seems like an honest, straight shooter kinda guy. I will pay attention to future orders, but I just wanted to put this out so others can beware if any. Thank you for your response!.

I suppose, but you never know, as some vendors say they read & value feedback. It doesn't hurt, as a concern I just wanted to make it known to other buyers also..

Vendors are not allowed to post here; but it is possible that he or a member of his staff do read the forums.

I have used his supplements for many years and never had the experience that you have mentioned. However, there is a first time for everything.

I would contact his company and share your experience. There is a 1-800 number listed on all of his bottles and his reputation is everything, more than likely they will send you a replacement bottle.

I had to call once several years back, not only was the customer service representative friendly and helpful, after they solved my problem, she gave me a follow up phone call.

Andrew Lessman strikes me as someone who has a great deal of integrity, and I would also suggest you contact his customer service number. I would guess that the capsules are standard sizes and i would rather have capsules not completely filled than have unnecessary filler.
