It's happened to me several times. I just look at it as them taking every precaution for my health and that follow-up will likely be insignificant. So far that's been the case.

If worry, and anxiety could change things, it would be temporarily worth it. We know it doesn't though. We do know that positivity has some health rewards, even in difficult times. Go positive.

I can understand why you would have worries. And I hope you get results that put your mind at ease. Wishing you good luck for a good result.

I use Hawaiian Hoʻoponopono for self talk when my mood gets negative. It's easy to remember. "I"m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you." It's a prayer to release and heal any situation. I'd recommend looking into Hoʻoponopono. Zero Limits is an interesting book. I've listened to the audiobook version of it and got a lot out of it.

From Wikipedia:

"Ihaleakala Hew Len, co-authored a book with Joe Vitale called Zero Limits[41] referring to Simeona's Hoʻoponopono teachings. Len makes no claim to be a kahuna. In contrast to Simeona's teachings, the book brings the new idea that the main objective of Hoʻoponopono is getting to the "zero state — it's where we have zero limits. No memories. No identity. "[42] To reach this state, which Len called 'Self-I-Dentity thru Ho'oponopono', includes using the mantra, "I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you."[43] It is based on Len's idea of 100% responsibility,[44] taking responsibility for everyone's actions, not only for one's own. If one would take complete responsibility for one's life, then everything one sees, hears, tastes, touches, or in any way experiences would be one's responsibility because it is in one's life.[45] The problem would not be with our external reality, it would be with ourselves. Total Responsibility, according to Hew Len, advocates that everything exists as a projection from inside the human being.

There's also Eckhart Tolle's work that involves remaining in the present moment where there is no room for any worry or thought, only the sense of 'now,' where there is no suffering.

https://eckharttolle.com

I've had a lot of them, ultrasouonds, biopsies, and I just tell myself its not going to be anything.

But it actually is probably easier for me to feel that way because out of all these, it never is anything.

I think I just have the confidence its not going to be anything bad.

They say if you worry about something, you have made yourself worried and feeling horrible when nothing has happened, so wait until it does, or may never happen at all.

Well, despite my small breasts they are dense and because of this, the density may or does make it more difficult to check for abnormalities if indeed there ever are any.

When I make this year's appointment I will pose this question to the scheduler about getting a better mamogram performed. Does this make me concerned? Not at all.

@shy bobcat ---I have been called back for more testing after my mammos more times times than I can count----every 6 months for a couple years---it is nerve racking but in my mind, it is kind of a comfort to know that if there are any weird things that a mammo finds, other tests can determine what it really is, most of the re- tests came out fine, just fatty, dense deposits---but , in my case, the extra tests I had in April of 2012, did find cancer and I was able to take care of it ASAP----there is always the worry but until you know---all that energy is for naught----I am glad you are on top of this--it is up to you to look after your health and do what you have to about---good luck

When I have a hard time sleeping because of a genuine worry, repeating the words from the end of Taps has helped me sleep.

It also reminds me of all the soldiers over the years who had to try to sleep amidst so much chaos, listening to that same song while on their bunk or bedroll, maybe even while injured, and calming themselves so they could rest. If they could do it, surely so could I.

"All is well.

Safely rest.

God is nigh."
