I'm Driving again ! Finally!

I have not driven since June when my original knee hardware was removed and the temporary knee hardware was placed. Finally drove yesterday after the new knee replacement on 9/24 and it felt so good ! I didn't go far, took some expired medications to the annual drug drop off at the police station about 3 miles away, didn't have to get out of the car. It was easy getting in the car to drive but getting the right knee to bend enough to get out was a bit difficult but I did it. Off the walker and the cane, so happy this new knee is moving in the right direction and things are getting back to normal for me. I will be driving myself to therapy tomorrow morning. YEAH !!! Just had to update those who recall my journey

@Goodie2shoes Such good news. One of my orthos is encouraging me to consider knee replacement on my right knee, but I am hesitant because of the driving.

Wonderful! Hard to describe the frustration of not have your freedom. Once I got so desperate I tried to run away on my crutches, didn't go well.

That's funny ! don't ever try it on a walker or a cane either, it just doesn't get you very farl
