Yes, it seems to be a lack of the usual grooming. Just not feeling up to it.

I had a long hospital/surgery stay and then a time in bed at home. When I finally looked at my heels I just about died. Took a while to whip all back into shape.

Often medication will dehydrate you. Do you use a humidifier at night? They make a huge difference. I so hope you are feeling better soon.

When I'm feeling under the weather I tend to take longer and hotter showers, trying to make myself feel better. But all that does is dry my skin out even more. Lately everything about me is super dry b/c the humidity here is close to 0% and has been that way for a few weeks now. I can't stand it so I started using my humidifier, full blast, around the clock. That helps tremendously with my dry scratchy throat. My hands and feet are feeling a lot better, too.

Illness and stress can cause your body to go through more liquids than usual. Best to increase fluid intake when that happens.

I'm sorry I have no idea why this is occurring. I know sometimes I get all achy and feel chilled out of the blue. I normally run hot.
Just wanted to say about the herbal tea if it's caffeine free why wouldn't it count as fluid/water. It's mostly water.

However, those alone might not be enough to keep you hydrated. You might still need more water.
