2 large rubber bands (which are more comfy than pony tail holders) and an old tee will easily do the trick! No sewing or glueing. Can you fold over and over? Good! you're done!!!

I took two LOGO tie-dye t-shirts out of my donation bags ... and made a couple of jazzy face masks. It's getting rave reviews!

T-shirt, coffee filters, some rubber bands and a stapler ... a snap to make.

I have some small chiffon square scarves that I haven't worn in years ... going to play around and see if I can make a couple of "elevated" face masks.

@ECBG : I tried that and found the rubber bands very uncomfortable no matter size or thickness.

On the QVC now...item V-37380 is a box of 50 disposable face masks. They are new. I have cloth face masks but wanted these for backup for me and my family. They posted they are NEW so they haven't been up too long on Q's site. Everyone stay safe.

@Sadiesadie So sorry. My rubber bands are about 2 1/2 inch long. I also use them to keep my sleeves pushed up.

In addition, some dry cleaners with alterations departments are providing masks for sale. I've heard about several in the DC area so check around.

Daily I check out the community FB page of the small community where I lived (Ridgecrest CA). Today they started posting all the local mask makers and their prices plus their phone numbers. Looks like most are asking $5 a piece! If anyone is interested, look up the page. Btw, most are military spouses.

Custom t-shirt maker customink has two types of masks available. A single layer mask and a triple layer mask. The single layer ones are $30 for twelve (with $5 shipping and tax.) The triple layer masks are $40 for ten (plus S&H and tax.) I ordered the twelve single layer ones and they're coming today. These look pretty nice and have two different ear openings for people with different sized heads.

One of the guys that works with DH brought out free masks his mom made. She made them for all the employees plus some. I mailed my sister one & mailed my other sister 3. I tried to pay for them but she will not take any money. They all took one home for their spouse so she made a lot of them.

I also bought 2 from Headcovers online at $14.99 each. The ones I bought were bamboo/cotton with poly water resistance membrane. It also has adjustable earloops for better fit. It has an inner pocket where you can put a filter.
