I got a plush type Sunbeam one from QVC years ago...still working, like the softness, heats well, auto shut-off. Not sure what Q has now, or if they have the larger size you want, but just saying I was happy with Sunbeam plush type. You can probably find those also on Amazon or Bed Bath & Beyond etc.

I will say, the original purchase konked out at just about a year, but Sunbeam customer service gave me no problem and just sent a replacement...that replacement has worked for at least 5-6 years now, and I use it often this time of year.

@nana59 - If you have an Aldi near you they offer one about that size with a velvet cover. I think the name of it is Visage. My husband bought it some time ago, but I've seen it on their website recently for $14.99. It seems to work okay.

exactly the one i'm replacing! i bought it from qvc years ago!

XL XPress Heat by Sunbeam. It's 11 x 24. Very plush, soft, and flexible. No cover. Entire pad is washable. Has 6 heat settings. Gets very hot on 6. Can be set to be on all the time or shut off after 2 hours. They really do heat up in seconds. No waiting. I've been using them for years.

It's the best heating pad I ever used.

Do not buy QVC's XXL XPress Heat Sunbeam pad. While this one has the same controller, the pad is not soft and washable. Comes with a very low quality stretchy cover that sheds and slides around. The pad crinkles at the ends and is hard. The pad is not evenly heated. One of the worst heating pads I ever used.

QVC sold the XL XPress Heat last year, the best one. Calling the XXL version they sold this year XPress Heat was deceptive IMO. I thought I was getting a larger version of last year's model. No comparison.

When I looked a month ago on QVC, over 70% of the reviews were negative.

You can buy the XL XPress Heat at quite a few places; although QVC doesn't carry it. Sometimes around this time Sunbeam has good sales on their heating pads.

Walmart and mostdrug stores sell them. QVC used to don't know if still do and just look around online.

So nice! I've had 3 for years.

I tried and returned a couple of heating pads from Amazon before finding this one that I love. It's a Battle Creek Equipment Thermophore MaxHEAT Plus Moist Heating Pad. It comes in several different sizes including a large 14 x 27 size. It's the best heating pad I've ever had.

I have a Sunbeam heating pad from QVC that I've had for many years, and it's one of the best purchases from the Q.

My heating pad is one I bought w/S&H Green stamps. Still works. I just do not care for heating pads.
