    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/34519"&gt;@Mom2Dogs&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Welcome to the group!&amp;nbsp; I ditto what everyone said about strength training/using light weights, etc.&amp;nbsp; I'm not a "joiner" either.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I have a treadmill, treadclimber, total gym, and a Pilates performer machine....enough to keep me busy.&amp;nbsp; I've been doing Pilates and the rebounder lately for light cardio and strength training.&amp;nbsp; What kind of rebounder do you have??&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/10138"&gt;@Laura14&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; My husband's office was freezing and nearly everyone had heaters.&amp;nbsp; The a.c. was constantly running.&amp;nbsp; A heating guy came out....the culprit?&amp;nbsp; A lady who's office had the main thermostat was using a heater.&amp;nbsp; Her office was registering 96, and thus the problem.&amp;nbsp; I said - was the lady embarrassed?&amp;nbsp; No one has told her yet.....uh okay.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/176284"&gt;@Mmsfoxxie&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;That's great that your grandson was dry for 1 night!&amp;nbsp; A great start for positive reinforcement!!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Did Pilates and the rebounder this a.m.&amp;nbsp; I have a chiro appt in a couple hours....hopefully he'll space my next appt out 2 weeks.&amp;nbsp; Then my son and I are going out to dinner at our fave restaurant on the pier.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

With more holidays ahead many try to stick with their " complete" health and fitness programs, but find many obstacles along the way. Even more reason to make it a top priority, and your thread provides inspiration for many on this Bulletin Board.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4" color="#000000"&gt;I am still doing&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;GREAT&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;and as long as I am skating, and pretty danged well, i could not be happier.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;Good morning, all. &amp;nbsp;Quiet weekend and that suits me fine.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;Glad everyone is doing fairly well.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;Boy, who knew that people in a nursing home could have so much energy? &amp;nbsp;Friday night, the place where my father is called me to let me know that, although he wasn't hurt, my 93 y.o. father had been hit in the shoulder by another resident, unprovoked. &amp;nbsp;My father then tried to grab the guy but the nurse and a faculty member each grabbed one. &amp;nbsp;The hospital came and got the other guy. &amp;nbsp;They surmise that he had some kind of flash back. &amp;nbsp;When I went to see my father Saturday, he said he wasn't hurt, just angry. &amp;nbsp;I told him that both of them would have probably ended up with broken hips or something, lol. &amp;nbsp;Come on now, old people.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;Hopefully this morning I'll be doing Senior Cardio and A Flexibility class. &amp;nbsp;Make this a blessed day or not...the choice is ours.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Good morning, all!&amp;nbsp; Happy December!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/176284"&gt;@Mmsfoxxie&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; I think this kind of thing happens a lot.&amp;nbsp; People get frustrated and they are over EVERYTHING by the time they are in their 80s and 90s and their filters are completely gone.&amp;nbsp; I'm glad no one was actually hurt.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm back at work today.&amp;nbsp; I hope I'm not exhausted by the end of the day. I'm going to skip Quick Fit today because I just don't think I'm up to that level of intensity yet.&amp;nbsp; Tomorrow in small group, I can control my level of exertion better.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've never really had unbearable pain, but the nerves are starting to regenerate around my nipple and that can be incredibly painful because it comes on so suddenly.&amp;nbsp; That will be ongoing for awhile I guess.&amp;nbsp; I have my follow up with the surgeon on Friday and will know a bit more about further treatment hopefully.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope you are all safe and sound--it sounds like the big storms are in the midwest and east.&amp;nbsp; I'm ready for spring.&amp;nbsp; Have a great day!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/12130"&gt;@DrKelli&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Sending you healing thoughts and prayers!&amp;nbsp; Go easy on yourself!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;We're supposed to get more rain mid-week.&amp;nbsp; I took Molly on the trail.&amp;nbsp; It was a little muddy.&amp;nbsp; I had her off leash.&amp;nbsp; She ran toward one dog that she knows and came back, then saw another dog that we don't know.&amp;nbsp; I decided to quit while I was ahead.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Jogged a little off and on....very little.....just to get somethin going.&amp;nbsp; I am just weight-bearing and walking is good enough right now.&amp;nbsp; 1.8mi/40min.&amp;nbsp; It did feel good to get out there.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It's Monday, ugggggggg&amp;nbsp; hard to get going today.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;We have so much snow, I"m already sick of it.&amp;nbsp; Must have gotten over a foot Saturday, on top of the Wednesday storm.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Is it Spring yet??&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I did the TG for 45 minutes, and then after lunch thought I'd snowshoe, big big mistake.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;It took me 30 minutes to what normally takes me 10.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I turned around and went home, and it was the longest walk home I can ever remember, the snow was up to my knees and that's on the snowshoes....I'm dog tired now!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/176284"&gt;@Mmsfoxxie&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;what a weird thing at the nursing home, those folks can still get quite riled can't they?&amp;nbsp; Glad nobody was hurt!&amp;nbsp; My dad turned 92 today, and he didn't want any party this year, or gifts.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;But I made his favorite cake, and did get him a gift.&amp;nbsp; My husband brought them over today.&amp;nbsp; Seems weird he didn't want anything, but when I called him, I had to ask about the cake and gift, not sure if he would say anything about it or not.&amp;nbsp; Who knows,,,but both my sisters went there, and now I feel like a crumb because I didn't go.&amp;nbsp; He said he didn't want anyone coming over....       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;Good morning, everyone. &amp;nbsp;Glad you're only experiencing expected pain&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/12130"&gt;@DrKelli&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;I didn't go to my exercise classes yesterday afterall. &amp;nbsp;No real excuse except that I was tired. &amp;nbsp;It had been another night of only a couple of hours sleep.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;I finally got on the scale this morning and my 20 pound increase has turned to 30! &amp;nbsp;I'm only 5 ft tall. &amp;nbsp;My joints are feeling this increase, especially since it's come on within a year. &amp;nbsp;I'm gonna blame my father for some of my stress, lol. &amp;nbsp;I've gone from barely thinking about my father and unhappy childhood to thinking about it everyday. &amp;nbsp;From talking to him about twice a year to talking to him about twice a week and seeing him about every two weeks. &amp;nbsp;Today, after my workout, I have to stop at social security for him. &amp;nbsp;Thursday, I have to go to the courthouse because he didn't mail a tax exemption for 2018 to see if they will back date his exemption status. &amp;nbsp;His reverse mortgage hasn't gone through yet and I'm working on that. &amp;nbsp;His house is still full of junk (hoarder) even though I threw a lot of stuff out. &amp;nbsp;My uncle (father's brother) said to leave that house like it is since it's not my house and senior's houses are left like this all the time. &amp;nbsp;He has taken over my life and thoughts.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;Anywayyyy, my mind won't be changed today! &amp;nbsp;(That 158 has to go back down to 128). &amp;nbsp;I'm definitely going to my class today before I stop at social security. &amp;nbsp;Three cheers for Body &amp;amp; Sculpt class, y'all, lol.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;Have a great day!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey ya'all, today I did 40 minutes of the Reformer, and 25 minutes rebounding on the reformer.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Snowshoed again this afteroon, and it was way better than yesterday, I mean the snow was still there of course but some of my already packed trail I did from yesterday I was able to pack down more, and then someone else had snowshoed, so I followed those tracks and then made it a little farther, so hopefully tomorrow it's even better, until we get more of course.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/176284"&gt;@Mmsfoxxie&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;I feel your pain, it's a battle and now with Holidays and all the food around and get together.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I am sorry about your stress with your dad.&amp;nbsp; My dad is stressing me out too, and he's grouchy, and rude.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;And he can't see hardly at all and still in his own house, and we try and do things for him but I understand how hard it must be to live like he lives with very little sight, I'd be a grouch also.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;It's just hard, when he makes snarky comments to you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/12130"&gt;@DrKelli&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;how did today go?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You really have rocked this surgery!!&amp;nbsp; So proud of you!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Who else is visiting today?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm powering down, have a headache now....Relax and enjoy the evening!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I will jump in if that's okay 😄. &amp;nbsp;I had, for various reasons, taken about a two month hiatus from my routine which consisted of TG, pilates, eliptical, and free weights.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;bopper- I had to laugh, I was watching my local news and the weatherman mentioned a storm in the UP of Michigan ( or Michigan UP)- and I knew what that was!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i know about power failures- We had a major ice storm and my whole town lost power for 12 days in December. My home was the last one to get power on &amp;nbsp;December 24 at 5 pm. Christmas for everyone is at my house- that year it was cancelled!&lt;BR /&gt;Back to the present- it started snowing Sunday, slowed down during the day yesterday, and then snowed overnight 25 inches total. So I am with you - so over winter!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i give you credit for still going out to walk.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;drkelli- so glad to see that your recovery is going well. How do you deal with so many snowstorms? Is it true that it all melts the next day?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;judyL- what a great plan for Christmas.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;mmsfoxxie- as we all know, you have to be ready to work on those pounds.When you are, you will.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Everyone!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Well, I survived the workout yesterday.&amp;nbsp; I felt pretty good, but I was exhausted last night.&amp;nbsp; I'm going to work from home on Friday, I think.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Today is yoga, so I will enjoy that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/34291"&gt;@tony14smoke&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;, sometimes the snow melts by the next day, but with this particular storm, it was below freezing for over a week, so we didn't get any melting until Monday.&amp;nbsp; The side streets are still a mess, but the major freeways are clear for the most part.&amp;nbsp; I grew up in the mountains here in Colorado and they cleared ALL roads--even residential areas, so I don't like that they don't do that in the big city.&amp;nbsp; Downtown was HORRIBLE and there are still areas that s*ck.&amp;nbsp; I work downtown, so I've been dealing with that this week.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope you all have a good day--thank you&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/8632"&gt;@bopper&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/87324"&gt;@BExplorer&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/176284"&gt;@Mmsfoxxie&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/10989"&gt;@MickD&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/48049"&gt;@JudyL&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; for all your good wishes.&amp;nbsp; I see the surgeon Friday and the oncologist next week, so keep your fingers crossed there is no need for chemo!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I've been missing from this thread for a while now and I fell off the wagon with my exercise routine.&amp;nbsp; Came back from Mexico in October and the exercise bug stopped biting me and I have been lazy and lethargic.&amp;nbsp; The short days are taking a toll on my spirits and sapping my energy.&amp;nbsp; I hope you all are doing well and taking good care of yourselves. I'm trying to get back in the saddle.&amp;nbsp; Worked out Sunday and Monday and will try to motivate for tonight.&amp;nbsp; But I'm already dreaming of throwing on my sweats and cracking a bottle of wine.&amp;nbsp; Gotta get back in shape before I turn into a pile of mush.&amp;nbsp; Will read this thread to stay motivated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Good morning!&amp;nbsp; I did yoga yesterday and have weight training today.&amp;nbsp; I am going to LaBlast on Saturday too!&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp; may have to take a break in the middle of it, but I'm going.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also see the surgeon tomorrow for follow up.&amp;nbsp; Hopefully everything is good.&amp;nbsp; The incisions look good and the steri strips are still in place.&amp;nbsp; I hope she takes them off tomorrow. I'm supposed to let them fall off naturally, but the remaining ones don't seem to be in any hurry. LOL!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Glad to see our 'missing' posters checking in.&amp;nbsp; You are missed when you are not here!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have a good day all!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
