    <description>&lt;P&gt;As I SO OFTEN SAY, each body is at least a little different from the next.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I lived this this sort of lifestyle eating program (I don’t use the word d**t) for several months in 2013-2014, and was very, VERY healthy while doing so, and was also free of most of my fibro symptoms.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After some major life changes, I did began to cheat myself by not following the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;program seriously, and although I didn’t regain the 85 pounds I’d lost, I DID regain several of the fibro symptoms I’d been so happy to give up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nowhere in this protocol does it oblige anyone to slurp down gallons of grease or eat a full carcass daily or literally any of the rather accusatory claims made by other “camps” of eaters.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will NEVER understand why the nearly proselytizing attitudes are so pervasive about what people CHOOSE to nourish THEIR bodies, except to sell some “essential” aspect of the “program” and make money. I am THRILLED when told about anyone who successfully overcomes negative habits by making good choices for themselves and living within them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am NOT thrilled when someone says or implies that THEY have found THE ONLY WAY TO EAT, and that unless I do what THEY DO I will suffer and die from consuming an organic chicken thigh. Such thinking led me to MANY miserable, eating disordered decades.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don’t hesitate to share the choices that were successful for me in learning how MY body functions best, but to have the temerity to imply that MY WAY IS THE ONLY WAY certainly seems demeaning and condescending to me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Study, choose, consider, make choices, include more items that help YOU feel and function best, eliminate what doesn’t. &amp;nbsp;To each her or his own!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just looked it up....oh my gosh, not for me ! I don't eat&amp;nbsp; meat, and my rheum said meat causes inflamation in the body,&amp;nbsp; weird they say to eat meat. I'm beginning to think they are all just guessing about what is best....&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't follow any of the current miracle diets.&amp;nbsp; I wouldn't try that one because I don't have an autoimmune disorder and for weight loss and weight maintenance, I do best with a balanced diet, always have.&amp;nbsp; I do have to work harder at finding what I like to eat now that I watch my cholesteral intake very carefully -&amp;nbsp; I do love eggs and real cheese, but I know I have to control them.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This "diet" is so wrong. &amp;nbsp;Actually will create inflammation&amp;nbsp;and toxicity....another gimmick. &amp;nbsp;I agree with no dairy/eggs, processed food, and sugar...common sense that most of us are aware of. &amp;nbsp;A diet of oil and meat....that's a ticket to the nursing home, &amp;nbsp; Oil clogs your arteries and destroys your entothelial cells and results in heart disease. Meat... don't even get me started with the list. &amp;nbsp;Eating animals destroys your health, the environment, and life. You defeat the purpose of the "diet". &amp;nbsp;Sheesh....just keep it simple and eat whole plant based food....lots of it. &amp;nbsp;The best for health and yummy. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

My Leafy Sister singin’ the song!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A friend of mine was having some autoimmune issues &amp;amp; we research&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dr. Brooke Goldner’s ‘&lt;I&gt;Goodbye&lt;/I&gt; &lt;I&gt;Lupus&lt;/I&gt;’ protocol. Her husband also&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;promotes&amp;nbsp;this diet for boosting metabolism &amp;amp; rapid athletic recovery,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so I decided to do it with her.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-TONS of greens &amp;amp; raw veg/fruit&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-96oz of water&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Lots of Omega 3 (chia/flax)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Exercise, if able.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They promote incorporating the greens/fruit/water/omega3 in form of a smoothie, for convenience. &amp;nbsp;They encourage at least 64oz or more of this geeen smoothie everyday. That would be approximately a pound/1.5lb of raw greens every day...and up to a cup of Omega 3 every day. Rest of calories would be raw veg/tofu/potatoes. I’m not going crazy w/ the chia/flax but they sure do fill you up. My friend just started this, so I’m hoping she sees positive results.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Actually my husband follows this diet.&amp;nbsp; Yes it's very strict and he can drive me crazy with it!&amp;nbsp; However he believes that it's an anti inflammatory way of eating for his autoimmune&amp;nbsp;illness.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has it helped with his disease?&amp;nbsp; Not really sure about that but he's pretty fit...slim, excellent blood pressure &amp;amp; cholesterol.&amp;nbsp; He's been eating like this for several years.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/52080"&gt;@sidsmom&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;That's our lifestyle, right there in your post. &amp;nbsp;Omega 3s are tricky...very critical for brain health and not so easy to obtain. &amp;nbsp;Avocados have 3s, but the ratio of 3s to 6s is out of whack. &amp;nbsp;I also include hemp seeds in our salads or include them in the dressings I make. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I share your feelings about supplements, but since my husband's surgeries 6 years ago I do everything within my power to ameliorate&amp;nbsp;inflamation/pain. &amp;nbsp;I study everything possible to assuage this demon. &amp;nbsp;I looked at lots of 3 supplements and almost all contain undesirable ingredients. &amp;nbsp;I have been including one by Nested...you might want to mention to your friends (but, again, ours is a special situation and not necessary for most). &amp;nbsp;Also, I've found the smoothie route the best for the flax/chia omega 3 uptake.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What your friends are eating is our way of life. &amp;nbsp;Sometimes I just have to shake my head...it is so easy to just consume plants. &amp;nbsp;I wish your friends recovery and stellar health ! &amp;nbsp;I love this way of life...whether dealing with critical health intervention or seeking an optimum way of life. &amp;nbsp;Love ya sis....I'll check out Goldner's book.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

All that is so good for us.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let’s see where this takes us!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Ok&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Potatoes are not allowed due to the fact that they are in the nightshade group of vegetables.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;No sugar/dairy/yogurt (it is dairy)nuts except Brazil nuts and cashews&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;it leaves me wondering what one CAN eat&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Really, it doesn’t allow for very much red meat either&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/32447"&gt;@LTT1&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;No I don't.&amp;nbsp; Once a week or so I'll make a roast which we'll eat together.&amp;nbsp; In the summer we'll grill food that we both eat.&amp;nbsp; Most of the time though he makes his own meals and eats a lot of salmon, shrimp, beef, pork, avocados &amp;amp; fermented veggies.&amp;nbsp; I think it sounds disgusting and I tell him so.&amp;nbsp; However he believes in it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;He also has been drinking deuterium depleted water which he believes will help with inflammation.&amp;nbsp; I really couldn't tell you much about it but to google it if you're interested.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ETA:&amp;nbsp; tomatoes, peppers&amp;nbsp;&amp;amp; eggplant are also nightshades in addition&amp;nbsp;to potatoes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
