To me it tastes like sugar and it even has the same texture like sugar, too. I think it might be a lot like Truvia only cheaper. I pay $7 for a 1-pound bag of Pyure. It's also cert organic.

Trivia also changed its packaging some time during the last year, and I contacted their public information resources.

They acknowledged that they had changed the amount of product per packet, which coincidentally was originally the perfect amount for my morning coffee, but explained the reason and sent me an actual box of products. Very good management decision and although I still buy the huge boxes of the packets, I will most definitely take a look at the Pyure.

I like the fact that Pyure is certified organic VERY MUCH!

Stevia is not an artificial sweetener. It comes from a plant. Artificial means it's man-made in a lab and not found in nature, for instance aspartame (Nutrasweet or Equal) and saccharin (SweetnLow). Artificial sweeteners are notorious for causing gut issues.

I use 100% stevia powder ( MicroIngredients brand, cert organic, top-rated) and also a blended sweetener with erythritol and stevia (Pyure brand, cert organic, also top-rated) which gives it more of a sugar taste and consistency. Erythritol is artifical.

Stevia is a natural sweetener made from Stevia leaves. It does not cause stomach upset like artificial sweeteners. I buy pure Stevia powder from Whole Foods. Do not be fooled by some Stevia products that also contain artificial sweeteners. Stevia is much sweeter than sugar, so it only takes a little bit to add sweetness.
