Several weeks ago I posted about my nails splitting and many of you kindly responded with a lot of recommendations for taking Biotin. Vitamins have always bothered my stomach but thanks for wanting to help. Here is what I have beeon doing.

1) Stopped my manicurist from 'BUFFING' my nails...that quick, back and forth over the nails. I have read it can cause thinning of the nails.

2) Stopped manicurist from using alcohol to clean the nail before polish- only water. Alcohol is drying! And I tend to have dry skin.

3) I am using all my own products- Hard As Nails for base and my own polish and top coat.

It's working- fingers crossed!

I rub it into my nails and cuticles, then put on cotton gloves. The effect is immediately noticeable. I stopped getting manicures and pedicures years ago when I realized they were actually damaging my nails and I was paying a pretty penny for that damage.
