Do you have one? Are these easy to use?

I went to the gym yesterday, the calories burned display didn't work, I really wished I'd had a tracker. Might seem silly, I guess.

Is there a brand or model you would recommend, or one you would advise somone to steer clear of?

TIA

I used a Fitbit Flex for 4-5 years. I dont need a lot of bells and whistles, but it definitely motivated me to be more active. A month ago I treated myself to the Fitbit Inspire HR...love it!

I like having the time on my wrist (instead of dragging out my cell phone). I like that each hour at 10 minutes before the next hour, it tells me to add

_ _ _ steps to achieve the 250 steps per hour recommended. I like being able to check my heart rate at a glance. And I like the look of the Inspire HR...slim look and I bought the black face with white band...like the look and it goes with everything!

I bought a $25 one off of Amazon that does everything my Fitbit did for the most part. You may want to buy a cheap one to see if it's for you and then step up. They can be wonderful but you can also become a slave to it and let it really up your anxiety. I think mine is from Letscomm if you want to take a peek.

What I do use are a Polar Chest Strap/Wrist worn Heart Rate Monitor/Oximeter and a Spirometer to track my Oxygen Saturation and my Lung Volumn Strength.

My regular workouts are all I need to track my vigorous activity level.

I bought a Fitbit Charge HR when they first came out. It worked great for five months and then the back fell off. Fitbit replaced it and the same thing happened with the second one. I gave up on Fitbits.

I now have a Garmin Vivoifit and like it better than Fitbits. No longer have to charge it.

I just ditched my Garmin Vivofit for a series 4 Apple watch. Yes, the Garmin was less expensive and doesn't require daily re-charging. However; it did a terrible job of tracking activity, particularly in the water, which is roughly 50% of my excercise.
