Skating days I drink half gallon at the rink in 2 hours. Hydrate well before I head out on skating days.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5"&gt;Much harder ice skating than running because more muscle groups involved. Takes core muscle to kept you Balanced and all front side muscles from your feet to your head.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Calories in, calories out, I forget how many calories you have to cut any more, to lose one pound, I think it's 3500. I read somewhere that it doesn't matter how much you exercise, you still need to calorie restrict to lose weight and I believe it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
