I don't drink anywhere near 1-3 drinks per week, but I do have a margarita when family or friends are out for Mexican food. I also enjoy a Maker's Mark and sour when out to dinner. Been doing this for almost 40 years with no problem. Often, it's a glass of water with lemon.

But drinking 16 oz of water does not create inflammation.

Drinking 16 oz of alcohol causes inflammation.

If you are already battling cancer & illness, inflammation is not

recommended, hence alcohol is not recommended.

No doctor, no reputable doctor, would encourage alcohol

consumption while in this condition. And trying & trying to find

a ‘study’ or positive recommendations to justify consumption

is more concerning. But if one wants to take that chance &

‘anger’ the cancer cells (my sister used to jokingly say that before

she passed), it’s up to each patient how close they want to get

to the edge of the cliff of Life.

I am a breast cancer survivor and strict moderation is what I observe. 1 - 3 drinks every week on a regular basis is way too much in my opinion, which I think I expressed last time this question was asked. Once every few months I may have a drink while out for dinner and that’s about it.
