      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I f it sounds like I’m bragging, I kind of am. It’s been a journey, but my BP. Is good &amp;nbsp;and since July I’ve lost 45 Lbs. I think I’m most impressed that I lost 5 Lb. since early Dec. Appt. I got through the holidays unscathed. All kidding aside, I’ll be humble tomorrow, but today, I’m bragging !😍&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It was forced on me, though, without my choosing. I started making my own soups, so I could control the sodium , same with salad dressing. It hurt my heart, but I eliminated most of my lean cuisines, (handy but full of salt). I already ate lots of chicken, but I added ground chicken and turkey for chili and pasta sauce. Brown rice and whole wheat pasta replaced white. I don’t eat cereal or bread, breakfast is usually a banana or other potassium rich food. It’s a process, and I’m not a machine, apsis I will have the occasional popcorn, or yes a small serving of Cheetos. 😱 However, most of the time my snack is fresh fruit salad. I was a Diet Coke addict, and now I might have 1 every 2 weeks, if that. Unsalted mixed nuts, ( just a few ) and LaCroix sparkling water is a good drink, the coconut is really good. Even if you don’t have BP issues like me cutting back on salt is a healthier choice. That’s all I’ve got.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It has been a lifelong struggle for me, I had to face what my poor choices were doing to my body. Since I retired I was in a state of denial about how much I had gained.
