When I am dieting, I limit myself to 50 carbs a day. But my normal everyday is about 75 carbs a day.

WW points are determined by your height, weight, and age.

A registered dietician told me to eat 30-35 carbs at each meal, and 10-15 carbs for snacks. She was doing this to regulate blood sugar problems, and was taking my age, wreight, and activity level into consideration.

I have never counted calories, but it would depend on your current weight and activity. I have read not to eat less than 1200.

I'm 5'6" and maintain at 1750-2000 cals per day. I use a Fitbit Force to track my activity levels (including my runs) and eat back most of what I exercise--I don't want to lose weight. I track my calories on myfitnesspal Monday-Friday and don't track on the weekends. Since I've turned 45 I find that it helps to be more mindful of my eating. I still eat exactly what I want, maybe just not as much or save it for a day that I have a long run planned.
