      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I heard about NOOM earlier this year, it was marketed&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;as a motivational tool only. &amp;nbsp;Thought that would be good, yes?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fast forward to today...looked on their Instagram page &amp;amp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it’s filled with pictures of food. &amp;nbsp;And the ‘coaches’ gives&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;nutritional advice. &amp;nbsp;Thought it was a habit-building tool.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Someone referred to it as ‘Weight-Watchers for Millenials.’&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Like the idea of Habit-Building...and there are tons of apps&amp;nbsp;out&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;there for change-a-habit for long term success. &amp;nbsp;But just using&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;pen-to-paper for Food Journaling is more effective...something&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;scientific about the handwriting&amp;nbsp;action of writing which is&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;better than online/typing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Funny how this NOOM is the Internet Chosen One. Why? 💁‍♀️💁‍♂️&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been seeing Noom advertised like crazy just this past week.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I use Lifesum and my husband uses it too.&amp;nbsp; It's easy and it keeps track of what you're eating, drinking, and how&amp;nbsp; much exercise you do.&amp;nbsp; I update my weight weekly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's a great way to maintain or lose weight.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I assumed this thread title was another lose weight plan. Recording what one eats/drinks and how much "exercise" they do, is a good thing. Not sure everyone's idea of what is "exercise" is the same. I think there are so, so many of those type of apps available that I don't remember hearing about it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Several of my friends use what I think is called My Fitness App.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
