Anyone experience this???

Had stabbing right rib pain,chills,stiff neck, extreme muscle weaknss in right leg I stomach pain. Never evolved into a cold but this whole ordeal was extremely painful. Just puzzled what caused this. It took about a week to taper off.

Had a radical laporoscopic hysterectomy in early Dec 2013 and seemed to do well up until this incident. Wonder if this had any correlation with the above mentioned.

I'm not understanding what these symptoms could have to do with a cold.

I would contact my doctor right away as they sound serious to me.

I would have gone to the ER with those symptoms. You should be checked out.

It never did develop into a cold...lol...lol Is that the funniest thing you heard to day? First, I don't believe this story at all. Maybe if she had those symptoms for one day, but not a week. If I had the that constellation of symptoms, I would have seen a doctor. Pronto.

I'd have been on the phone with the doctor or at urgent care with the stabbing right rib pain.

If I had just had surgery 6 weeks before, I'd have been to the ER or to my surgeon's office.

What part of that list of symptoms even remotely resembles a head cold?
