      <title>Fish oil recommendations?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am looking for a new brand of fish oil with higher amounts of DHA and EPA. Any suggestions? I need enteric coated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had been taking Lessman's Max Omega 3, but my last order went bad within 2 months of opening. Rancid fish smell! No broken caps, nothing stuck together. It had an expiration date of 2021! So I have to toss some 670 caps. HSN credited 1 payment, which was nice because it was out of the return window, but how many fish oils go bad in 30 days or less? I won’t take a chance on AL products again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Fish Oil caps smell like fish, I don't know what rancid fish oil caps smell like though. I have taken AL supplements for years and never had the Fish oil smell bad, fishy yes, but not objectionable.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've heard Dr. Lessman recommend one with a higher DHA level.&amp;nbsp; I went to Vitacost and started searching.&amp;nbsp; The first one we bought was the Vitacost brand.&amp;nbsp; I DON'T recommend it.&amp;nbsp; The softgels were on the large side, they would break, and they had a fishy tast.&amp;nbsp; Then I found a version made by Country Life and I like them very much.&amp;nbsp; The softgels are smaller and appear to be stronger so they don't break and leak.&amp;nbsp; I don't get any upset stomach or "repeating" from them either. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://www.bing.com/th?id=OP.pscQKnXAIyZA9Q300C300&amp;amp;w=180&amp;amp;h=150&amp;amp;rs=1&amp;amp;pid=21.1" border="0" alt=" " width="180" height="150" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Different brands and I have never taken a capsule that&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;did not smell like fish.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; I didn't even&amp;nbsp;know there was such a thing as &lt;STRONG&gt;enteric&lt;/STRONG&gt; coated capsules! Learn somthin new every day.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4" color="#000000"&gt;Right now I am taking 1400mg X 2 every day. Present ones are from CVS, and I am not one that is "into the DHA/EPA" thing. Things going fine for me on my twice annually blood and lipid tests, with all numbers in a very good category.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Even a slight fish odor doesn’t bother me. The ones I tossed smelled like really old vegetable oil, only fishy. Upset my stomach, etc,&amp;nbsp;usually I don’t have any trouble with fish oil, but these made me sick.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks for the suggestions. I will try just a small bottle. Not so much $$ if they go south!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Its expensive, but the only one that works. Fish oil pills did nothing for me, except fish burps. This one is pharmaceutical grade, thus - it works. The store bought supplements did nothing. Always keep your fish oil in the refrigerator.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’ve been taking the Procaps Maximum Omega-3 for many years because the DHA and EPA ratio is important. They’re not overly large capsules so aren’t hard to take. I take enough to get at least 4000 mg.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I recently had a complete blood work-up done by a lab who tested all things related to taking Omega-3. The company it works for sells an Omega-3 liquid product. So that fact could have easily been used to report that my results were lacking, to make the case that I needed to buy this product. The results came back that my complete testing was nearly perfect. I wasn’t sure what to expect but was delighted about this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think it’s important to take the proper amount, otherwise, results may not be noticed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
