I take Tamoxifen. No real problems with it...I am flying next week and wondered about blood clots...i know one should move around the plane as much as possible...(about a 2.5 hr. flight). Anyone ever dealt with this before? Just wondered...I take a daily baby aspirin...maybe I should take a full dose.

I agree, ask a medical pro. I will say, when I fly from SeaTac to LAX it's about 2-1/2 hours and I don't need to move around. I DO stretch my legs while sitting and if I need to use the restroom, I do, but that's it.

Just make sure you eat before you take it and no alcohol. Alcohol is a blood thinner too. Or just have a drink and no extra aspirin. If you have any worries call your doctor’s nurse. Have a nice trip.😊

I would definitely recommend wearing compression stockings. Also, while you are sitting on the plane move your feet up and down and move your legs, too.

I took Tamoxfen for a year and the side effects were really bad for me. I talked to the doctor and we agreed I would not take it any more. My legs also aached every night. The side effects from radation also not so great. I would call the doctor and ask. By the way I went back on a low dose of Estrace cream twice a week.
