      <title>Nothing like aspirin</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3"&gt;I have a lot of pain to deal with.&amp;nbsp; I will not take prescription pain relievers or opiods.&amp;nbsp; So I use Aleve when my pain is worse than usual.&amp;nbsp; It takes the edge off, but that's about it.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3"&gt;I have taken ibuprofen in the past in large doses and wound up with high blood pressure, so I had to stop taking it.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3"&gt;Tylenol is useless for pain.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3"&gt;The other night I took a regular aspirin.&amp;nbsp; Just one.&amp;nbsp; And the pain was totally gone in 20 minutes.&amp;nbsp; I know one cannot take aspirin all the time because it thins the blood and can cause internal bleeding.&amp;nbsp; &lt;U&gt;But there is no pain reliever like it.&lt;/U&gt;&amp;nbsp; It's thousands of years old and has many other benefits.&amp;nbsp; I wish I could take it every day.&amp;nbsp; It used to be the drug of choice for RA and I can understand why.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Ibuprofen does nothing for my headaches but, helps with back and shoulder pain.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3" color="#000080"&gt;Aspirin works best for me for both types. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I agree....wish i could take aspirin here and there...but because of medications...i am only able to take tylenol which does NOTHING........Also...my father had RA years&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;back and took aspirin all the time....he swore by it...but&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;you really have to be so careful......we came home one day to find him passed out on the sofa...got him to the hospital and they told him he was bleeding internally from the overuse of the aspirin....he had a big ulcer......after healing he only took it when he felt he had no choice....great med...but gotta be careful with continued use....&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It nearly ruined my life with all the gastro-intestinal problems it gave me. I was living on Tums and antacids. It nearly ruined my life with all the gastro-intestinal problems it gave me. I was living on Tums and antacids. The pain was &amp;nbsp;so HORRIBLE.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How I did not destroy my kidneys and stomach I will never know. I guess I had a hard stomach! &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since having both knees and both hips replaced...I take no aspirin at all. &amp;nbsp;I am pretty much pain free now. It is a blessing. &amp;nbsp;I still have Osteoarthritis in my spine, but I can keep the inflammation down with natural pain relievers like Zyflamad and Chinese herbs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Years ago in the old boxing rings, boxer's trainers used oil of wintergreen laced with salicylate to rub down the boxer's muscles just before a match. It sure did kill the pain but it also made it a darn bloody match.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
