So is it Health and Fitness now? They used to have a Wellness forum, just for health questions and medication stuff, etc. I'm surprised they combined it with the Fitness section. To me that is like, chatting about workout stuff vs. health and doctor visits etc. oh well.

I think they should have a "Health Concerns and Wellness" Forum and then, a separate "Fitness and Lifestyle" section. That way people that wanted to talk about their workout routines and diet, could do that and then people that wanted to talk about health issues and medications and surgeries etc. could do that in a different forum.

I am glad you posted . I wondered the same.

I have a swollen right clavicle and went to the doctor. Waiting on blood work.

I just wondered if anyone else had experience with this issue?

Since that topic was no longer there, I didn't start the thread.

Yes--it's been about a week now! Maybe TPTB thought Health and Fitness sounded so much hipper than Wellness!

Honestly , it feels like "arthritis type pain- but my doctor says doesn't think that is what it is , as she said she" has never seen arthritis" in that location."

Yet, I have seen photos and articles of the very same swelling I have, with articles on arthritis. Guess that is why they say not to believe it -just because it is on the internet.

She is testing for thyroid issues, and will look at my blood panel and says then -we will go for an x-ray next. Then possibly both an ultra sound and cat scan.

She thought it could possibly be a cyst, as she didn't really know , so of course she started to explain about nodules and hoping for benign.

I am terrified , but still hoping it is the arthritis- that the doctor thinks it isn't .

I do have arthritis in the back of my neck, that showed on an x-ray done last year. I just thought , "more arthritis." I guess we will see.

Yes it is, because all of the posts under the "Health and Wellness" forum are here. They just changed the name, which is the same as the title of the Forum, and which I believe was a rather stupid move because now some people with illness issues will not be sure where to post.
