I used to get bad sinus headaches...but never any congestion or stuffy nose symptoms, just the terrible sinus pain. It runs in my family....my dad, several siblings, my child and grandchild all deal with it. The only thing that ever really helped me was prescription migraine medication. I don't get them often anymore. Definitely check with your doctor if you aren't getting relief with what you've tried so far.

I have suffered daily from sinus headaches since I was a teen, I'm now 61. It got to where there wasn't any kind of meds that would help anymore. I tried a neti pot a couple of years ago and ended up with a sinus infection because not all the water drained. Finally out of desperation I ordered a Navage (from that other channel). I've used it for 4 days now and no headaches!! I feel better than I've felt in years!!!

I feel for you. I am a sinus migraine sufferer. Generally, I take Pseudophedrine Hydrochloride Extended Release tablets and 3 Advil.

Last week I woke up Thursday about 3 am with a screaming sinus headache. I never got rid of that headache until Saturday. I pretty much never got out of bed Thursday except to take pills that did nothing for me.

Finally Thursday night I used my Neti-Pot. That gave me some relief. Friday I used my Neti-Pot 3 times which provided some relief and then Saturday when I woke up my headache was gone. That is probably the worst my headache has ever been. It's very rare that Sudafed and Advil combined don't work for me.

@narcisse I, like one of the other responders, do not get congested. My sinuses get inflamed with terrible pain. I can't take Sudafed because it brings on a migraine as does the Neilmed and other rinses. Steaming also brings on a migraine. Advil upsets my stomach so not much more to use. The doctor prescribed Sprix for my migraines and also for my Sinuses when they get so bad I can't get out of bed. The Sprix works within 3 doses (within 1 day). The only problem is I just went on Medicare and it does not cover Sprix. It's a miracle drug for these conditions. It's extremely expensive when paying out of pocket. If your insurance pays for it, sometimes there is no co pay. Again, it's a miracle drug, nothing like it out there. Hope everyone finds relief and gets their Sinuses under control.
