do you keep track in your head about how many calories a meal and or snack has as you go thoughout the day? Do you have an idea of how many calories your body requires to maintain, gain or lose weight?

I just wondered as I know about how many calories is in everything I eat all day long so I will not gain weight. I wear a FITBIT which keeps track of my movement during the day and at sleep so I have an IDEA of approx. what I am burning everyday. My weight stays the same this way and I do not have to worry about my clothes not fitting etc... and I can adjust my calories to my burn if I choose to lose a pound or two.
