My bone density scan came back and shows my bones have deteriorated since my last scan two years ago. He is sending me to get blood work for vitamin D and calcium levels. Then he wants me to go to a endocrinologist for vitamin d deficiency. I have been taking Fosomax for two years. I am so confused. I am in good health. I lost 30 pounds with weight watchers. I walk everyday. I have been vigilant about taking my vitamin d and calcium. I don't want to take anymore medicine. The phone call at 5:00pm tonight caught me off guard. I am going to call back tomorrow and ask more questions. I have never felt better in my life. I just turned 65 and just wanted to vent. Have any of you had similar stories?
