I am usually fairly tech saavy, but companies are chronically changing the name of the optical drives they put into new laptops and these companies never post or discuss specific information about these drives. Today's HP TSV has one that burns DVD's, but I want to know if I can load and play CD Rom software I have and use for teaching as well as some other programs on CD Rom. I'm often confused when companies refer to CD's if they mean music or CD Roms. Does anyone know about the TSV?
