I have a ton (not really) of recipes that I had copied and pasted to Word, then I transferred them to a flash drive. However, I am now wondering if there was a better way to do this.

Do they make flash drives in which you can make folders? I am thinking if it would be possible to use a flash drive dedicated to recipes, and separate them by type of recipe--cookies, soups, vegetables, etc. Right now, they just alphabetized themselves by name of the recipe.

Is there any such animal (?) as this? What would it be called? I tried doing a google search with "flash drive with folders" and really did not understand what they referred me to--they talked about synchronization, or something like that.

Thanks in advance for any info you could share.
