Have an "free upgrade phone every two years" plan and haven't upgraded in about 6 or 7! (Figure maybe I can leverage that to see what they might offer me now.) Have the old simple Samsung flip. Yes, I know...people tease me. But I've always just wanted simple phone for calls and figured I'd upgrade to a smart phone when &amp; if I really wanted one. That said....my connection to battery charger finally has died and I need a new phone asap. Leaning toward jumping in and going new school, looking at both Nokia Lumia Icon Windows phone or Iphone 5s. Anybody with reviews on either vs. the other? Any advice on best plans at Verizon or elsewhere? I have AT&amp;T phone and internet, so they'd probably give me some bundle, but I heard only Verizon has the Lumia Icon. My bill has been $40 a month forever, with no texting plan. Even when I pay for each text still was only about $45 for the little amount I do. But more and more people text me. Also curious if anyone else just has a simple phone for calls vs. smartphone? I'm torn with keeping it simple or having fun with a phone that can do it all. Leaning toward the latter.
